FamTravelClub.com provides family travel deals, AI-powered itinerary planning, and destination guides. The site is operated by Peter Duncan ("we," "us," "our").

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide voluntarily:

• Email address — when you request a travel itinerary, subscribe to our newsletter, or use any opt-in form on the Site.
• Trip planning inputs — destination, travel dates, number of children/ages, and budget entered into our itinerary planner. This data is sent to our AI service (Anthropic Claude) to generate your itinerary and is not stored after the response is delivered.

We also collect standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages visited) through our hosting provider and analytics tools.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To generate and email you the travel itinerary you requested.
• To send the newsletter and family travel deals you opted into.
• To improve our content and tools based on aggregate usage patterns.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

4. Third-Party Services

• Resend — email delivery (resend.com/privacy)
• Anthropic (Claude API) — AI itinerary generation. Your trip inputs are sent to Anthropic to generate your itinerary. Anthropic's privacy policy is at anthropic.com/privacy.
• Expedia / Viator — hotel and activity affiliate search results embedded in itineraries.
• Travelpayouts — flight and travel deal affiliate links.
• Google Analytics — site traffic analytics (policies.google.com/privacy). Opt out: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
• Google Tag Manager — tag management for analytics.

5. Affiliate Disclosure

FamTravelClub.com participates in affiliate programs including Travelpayouts, Expedia, and Viator. When you click an affiliate link and make a purchase or booking, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. Affiliate relationships do not influence which deals or destinations we feature.

6. Cookies

We use cookies for analytics and to maintain site performance. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; some features may not work correctly if you do.

7. Your Rights

To unsubscribe from our emails, reply STOP to any email we send or email peter@ancwin.com. To request deletion of your data, email us and we will remove your information within 30 days.

If you are located in the European Union or California, you have additional rights under GDPR and CCPA respectively. Contact us to exercise those rights.

8. Data Security

We use HTTPS encryption for all data transmission. Email addresses are stored with our email service provider (Resend). We do not store payment information — any purchases made through affiliate links are handled entirely by the respective retailer or booking platform.

9. Children

Our site is intended for adults planning family travel. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. The "last updated" date reflects changes. Continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance.
